KATO Rail-Navi Privacy Policy
KATO has established the following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy") regarding the handling of personal information of users of KATO "Rail-Navi" service (hereinafter referred to as "Users"). We will promote the protection of personal information by establishing a system for protecting personal information, having all employees recognize the importance of protecting personal information, and ensuring that all employees are fully aware of the importance of protecting personal information.
Article.1 (Personal Information)

Article.3 (Management and protection of personal information)
Personal information shall be strictly managed and shall not be disclosed or provided to any third party without the consent of the user, except in the following cases. In addition, in consideration of safety, we will take measures to prevent and correct risks such as unauthorized access to personal information, loss, destruction, falsification, and leakage of personal information.

Article.6 (Disclosure of personal information)
Users may request to disclose their personal information held by KATO in accordance with the procedures set forth in Article 9. Upon receiving such a request from the user , KATO will disclose the information to the user without delay. However, if KATO decides not to disclose the information, KATO will notify the User to that effect without delay.

Article.7 (Correction, etc. of Retained Personal Data)

If the personal information held by KATO is incorrect, the User may request KATO to correct, add, or delete (hereinafter referred to as "correct, etc.") the relevant personal information in accordance with the procedures set forth in Article 9. The User may request KATO to correct, add, or delete (hereinafter referred to as "Correction, etc.") such personal information in accordance with the procedures set forth in Article 9.

Upon receiving a request as described in the preceding paragraph, we will conduct the necessary investigation without delay, and if as a result we determine that there is a reason for the request as described in the preceding paragraph, we will correct the relevant personal information without delay.

Article.8 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information, etc.)

Users may request KATO to stop using, erase, or stop providing to third parties (hereinafter referred to as "stop using, etc.") their personal data held by KATO in accordance with the procedures set forth in Article 9. The User may request KATO to cease using, erase, or cease providing to a third party (hereinafter "Cessation of Use, etc.") personal data held by KATO in accordance with the procedures set forth in Article 9.

Article.9 (Procedures for disclosure, etc. of personal information)
When making a request as stipulated in Articles 6 through 8, the user shall follow the procedures separately prescribed by KATO (fees will be charged for some of the procedures). Please contact us for details.
Article.10 (Privacy Policy Modification Procedures)
We will review the contents of this policy from time to time and strive to improve it. The contents of this policy may be changed except as otherwise provided in laws and regulations or in this policy. The revised Privacy Policy shall become effective when it is notified to users or posted on KATO's website in a manner prescribed by KATO.
Article.11 (Compliance with laws, regulations and norms)
We will comply with Japanese laws and regulations and other norms applicable to personal information in our possession.
Article.12 (Response to complaints and consultations)
KATO will receive complaints and consultations from users regarding the handling of personal information, and respond to such complaints and consultations in an appropriate and timely manner. We will also respond promptly and appropriately to requests from users for disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, or refusal of use or provision of said personal information.
Article.13 (Safety control measures)
We take organizational, physical, personnel, and technical measures to prevent unauthorized access to personal information, loss, destruction, alteration, and leakage of personal information by restricting access to personal information files, recording access logs, and implementing security measures to prevent unauthorized access from outside KATO. We will prevent unauthorized access to personal information, as well as the loss, destruction, falsification, leakage, etc. of personal information. In the unlikely event of an incident involving the leakage of users' personal information, we will promptly report the incident to the regulatory authorities in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Law and related guidelines, and take necessary measures to prevent similar incidents from occurring or recurring, in accordance with the instructions of the relevant regulatory authorities.
